A new and used car dealership has taken over the former Lookers Used Car site in Burton, Staffs, and is aiming to create new jobs for the town.
The Arnold Clarke Motorstore covers four acres and will have 300 new and used vehicles at the site at any one time.
When launching or expanding a dealership and taking on staff, it is vital to check that your motor trade insurance policy provides the right level of cover for all of the business' assets, including the stock and the premises itself.
The new business will be headed by area general sales manager Dean Ward, who has been working in the motor trade for quarter of a century. The Arnold Clark group itself has been trading for more than 60 years and remains an independently-owned, family run company. It has more than 200 branches in England and Scotland employs 9,000 people.
Brian Webster, Arnold Clark Motorstore franchise manager, told the Burton Mail: "Motorstore has proven itself to be a tremendous brand for Arnold Clark, and it's always exciting to welcome a new branch to the Arnold Clark family.
"James Brindley Way is a fantastic site, and we're looking forward to continuing to offer our great value and excellent service to customers at the new showroom."
The brand is planning two further openings before the end of 2015.
