Taxi Fleet Insurance

Our taxi fleet insurance policies cover 3 or more vehicles. There is no limit to the number of vehicles that can be covered in your fleet.

We can provide:

• Taxi base insurance
  Including cover for the premises, public liability, employers’ liability and internal risks cover (for example, cover for computers and telephony equipment, drinks machines and other valuable items on-site)
• Taxi fleet insurance
  Annual taxi fleet policies can be taken out to cover your fleet of vehicles, and we can also offer access to owner driver schemes, where we provide insurance cover for vehicles owned by drivers on your fleet policy.
• Private Taxi and Public Hire Taxi insurance
  Gallagher individually covers private hire taxi vehicles or public hire taxi vehicles – and we can also cover mixed fleets of vehicles. This gives you the flexibility to operate your taxi business however you need to, knowing you have appropriate insurance cover.
• Taxi self-drive hire
  If you rent vehicles to your drivers, they can be covered as part – or all – of your Gallagher taxi fleet insurance policy. There may be stipulations is that drivers must be over the age of 25.
• Inexperienced taxi drivers/recent badge holders
  Do you have drivers who have only got their taxi badge within the last 2 years? Or do you have young or inexperienced taxi drivers? Gallagher may be able to provide insurance for these drivers, as part of your overall fleet policy.
• MPV insurance
  We may cover vehicles with up to 16 seats as part of your taxi fleet policy.
• Coach insurance
  Gallagher can cover coaches as part of your taxi fleet policy.
