9th October 2013: This week, a new partnership agreement has been signed between Steve Cherry, Managing Director of Phantom Tracking and Chris Patterson, Managing Director of Bollington Insurance Brokers Limited, to help fleet operators secure premium savings by installing Phantom trackers.
Phantom Tracking Systems have been quality assured by Thatcham motor and insurance repair research centre to provide tracking systems for clients operating in a variety of sectors including private hire taxi, hauliers, couriers and various other commercial and private clients. Working with Bollington, significant savings on insurance premiums with selected insurers have been shown to be possible as a result of installing Phantom Trackers.
The exclusive arrangement offers discounts on the installation of vehicle trackers to Bollington clients and prospects. Further, it enables Bollington to negotiate premium savings on insurance renewal terms and in many cases, the cost of installing trackers into a fleet has been covered by the savings on their insurance in the first year alone. Savings running into thousands have already been experienced by Bollington clients. With business expenditure on the rise including insurance, and with many insurers refusing to offer discounts for the use of trackers, this is one announcement that will be of interest to fleet operators throughout the UK.
Savings can also be seen by using tracking systems in enabling companies to maintain accurate records of fuel usage, speeding and confirmation of deliveries, ensuring the safety of their workforce in the event an accident, and even working out business and personal mileage for HMRC at the end of the tax year. All of these allow Phantom's clients to streamline their operations, save money and increase their size and efficiency.
Steve Cherry, MD at Phantom commented "I am delighted that Bollington have chosen to work with us and we’re looking forward to a long and prosperous relationship because we work in similar sectors.
"As a well established broker, Bollington understands the insurance needs of their fleet clients very well and look for innovative ways to help their clients save money on their renewal premiums. We have seen so many instances over recent years where insurers refuse to acknowledge that the installation of trackers reduces the risk to that company and should be reflected in the insurance premium they pay. Bollington have helped to prove the efficacy of these systems, making premium savings a reality".
