The Evans Halshaw Old Trafford Ford car dealership has welcomed a special guest for its grand opening.
Elena Ford, the great-great-granddaughter of automotive legend Henry Ford, travelled to Manchester to open the new £750,000 flagship store. Originally founded in 1912, the showroom has been redeveloped more than a century later into a modern dealership that promises to offer the ‘total Ford experience’.
For any car dealership or garage that undergoes a major refurbishment it is imperative they review their motor trade insurance policy to ensure it still offers adequate cover for the improved site and everything contained within it.
For example, the completely redesigned Ford showroom in Manchester will showcase exclusive Ford products, including the New Mustang, Vignale and the US produced Ford Edge, Car Dealer Magazine reported. The site will also guide customers through a highly sophisticated car customisation process.
Stuart Foulds, national franchise director for Evans Halshaw, welcomed Elena Ford alongside managing director for Ford UK, Mark Ovenden to officially open the new dealership. He commented on the event: "It was a great launch event and we’re delighted that the first new concept Ford store within Evans Halshaw is now open. We’re now looking forward to sharing this with our customers and enabling them to experience all the new store has to offer."
